How to watch Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren: Time, channel, betting odds - New York Post

Jake Paul is in for his biggest test yet.

After a pair of boxing wins over YouTube star AnEsonGib and ex-NBAer Nate Robinson, the 24-year-old of social media fame will enter the ring against Ben Askren on Saturday in a pay-per-view matchup at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

The bout will be available for purchase through FITE.tv for $49.99.

Askren represents the first real combat-fighting opponent for Paul. The 36-year-old from Iowa will be making his boxing debut, but is a former college wrestler turned MMA titleholder (he held the welterweight belts in Bellator and ONE), who retired after one year with UFC. He knows fighting strategy in a way Paul has yet to experience, and has been equal to his opponent’s proclivity for trash talk.

“You’re telling me you’re gonna pay me a whole bunch of money to beat up a YouTube star?” Askren said in December, after Paul called him out over social media. “Like, I don’t know, that just sounds like a fun Friday night to me.”

Not that Paul is paying any respect to Askren, either. The Cleveland native has put in some serious training and has some big goals when it comes to boxing.
