NBA fans were locked in Wednesday night to watch the play-in tournament game featuring the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors.
It turned out to be one of the best games of the season that came down to the wire.
In the fourth quarter of the Lakers’ 103-100 victory, Warriors forward Draymond Green committed a hard foul against Lakers star LeBron James. After attacking the rim, James was hit in the eye by Green and shaken up on the ground after the play. Portland Trail Blazers guard CJ McCollum wasn’t buying it:
“Actor of the year,” McCollum tweeted, followed by a laughing emoji.
The play happened with just more than two minutes remaining. The officials ruled it a common foul after James remained on the floor for some time.
The eye injury didn’t slow down LeBron, though. James would go on to drill the winning 3-point basket in the face of Stephen Curry with less than a minute to go.
It was an incredible ending to an incredible game, but McCollum still had some fun with it watching at home.
