Robin Gosens, Kai Havertz dish on Germany teammates Thomas Müller and Jamal Musiala before England match - Bavarian Football Works

Germany players Robin Gosens and Kai Havertz have made a good impression during the European Championships.

Gosens, of course, has already drawn interested from FC Barcelona while Havertz continues to cement his status as one of the world’s best young players.

Through this experience, however, both Gosens and Havertz are learning a lot by watching Thomas Müller’s approach to the game, his communication skills, and how he build relationships on-and-off the pitch.

“He likes to crack jokes when it’s time for that, but as soon as he stands on the pitch, he helps every player and brings the necessary seriousness. That makes him very special as a person and a player because he helps us a lot everywhere,” Gosens said as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia).

Havertz agreed with Gosens and noted that it is fun to play alongside Müller — something that might have happened at Bayern Munich if former manager Hansi Flick had his way.

“Thomas Müller is our third assistant coach. He pulls a lot of players along with him and is very important for us in terms of communication on the pitch. It’s fun to play alongside him” said Havertz (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia).

As for Musiala, Gosens could not be more impressed with the youngster’s composure and maturity.

“When I was 18, I was still hanging out with my friends and had nothing to do with professional football. He is a very nice guy, open and wants to learn. He is very down to earth. If things go on like this, he’ll have a great career,” Gosens said as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia).
