No. 1 Georgia and No. 11 Kentucky are locked in a scoreless game after one quarter at Sanford Stadium in Athens, Georgia. Quarterback Stetson Bennett IV got the start for the third straight game and looks sharp after a slow start for the Bulldogs.
He moved the offense inside the Kentucky 35-yard line on consecutive pass plays near the end of the first quarter to get the Dawgs in position to get on the board. Bennett is 4 of 8 for 57 yards, but appeared to get banged up on a sack-fumble that Georgia recovered with 8 seconds left. He threw on the sideline during the replay review and appears to be staying in the game. Kentucky QB Will Levis is 4 of 5 for 16 yards in a Wildcats offense that hasn't had much interest in stretching the field quite yet.
