Media reacts to Tennessee's blowout win over Kansas - 247Sports

On Saturday night, the No. 18 Tennessee Volunteers hosted the No. 15 Kansas Jayhawks. The game resulted in a wire-to-wire Volunteers blowout, winning the game over the Jayhawks by a score of 80-61. Kansas never led in the game for a single second. The game was part of the SEC/Big 12 Challenge.

In the win, Tennessee had four players in double figures. Yves Pons led the team with 17 points and also pulled down five rebounds. Freshman guard Jaden Springer, in his second game back after missing three, added 13 points with four rebounds and three assists.

As for Kansas, the Jayhawks have now lost four out of their last five games. David McCormack led the team with 17 points in the blowout loss. Kansas shot just 37.7% from the field while allowing Tennessee to shoot a red-hot 52.8%.
