The Green Bay Packers provided only one injury designation on Thursday’s final injury report, while the Los Angeles Rams declared one quarterback out and one very important defensive player ready to go.
The Packers and Rams will play in the NFC Divisional Round on Saturday at Lambeau Field.
For the Packers, defensive lineman Kingsley Keke is the lone player with an injury designation. He is still going through the concussion protocol and is listed as doubtful after not practicing all week. He has missed two straight games.
The Rams got some good news and bad news on the final injury report. While quarterback John Wolford is officially out with a neck injury, All-Pro defensive lineman Aaron Donald doesn’t have an injury designation and will play through a rib injury.
Rams receiver Cooper Kupp is questionable with a knee injury, rookie edge rusher Terrell Lewis is out with an ankle injury and offensive lineman David Andrews is questionable with an ankle injury.
Kupp, who caught a team-high 92 passes for the Rams in 2020, is a player to watch when inactives are announced 90 minutes before kickoff on Saturday. The Rams are clearly less confident in his ability to play compared to Donald.
On the other side, the Packers removed cornerback Kevin King, receiver Allen Lazard, tight end Marcedes Lewis, edge rusher Za’Darius Smith, receiver Equanimeous St. Brown and offensive tackle Rick Wagner from the injury report, meaning all six will play without issue on Saturday. The week off allowed Matt LaFleur’s team to get mostly healthy to start the playoffs.
The Rams can’t say the same. Wolford’s absence confirms Jared Goff will start at quarterback. He injured his neck during the Rams’ win over the Seattle Seahawks last week. Donald and Kupp also suffered their injuries during the win in Seattle.
The Packers will be without left tackle David Bakhtiari, who is on injured reserve, and offensive tackle Jared Veldheer, who was placed on the COVID-19 reserve list on Wednesday.
