There is a new chapter to the ongoing war of words between sports media personality Colin Cowherd and Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield. None other than Tom Brady interjected himself into the nonstop barrage of criticism directed at Mayfield by Cowherd.

When Cowherd — predictably — went after Mayfield for No. 6’s tweet about possibly seeing a UFO, Brady unexpectedly sprung to Mayfield’s defense in a tweet of his own.

Cowherd said, “Joe Montana, Troy Aikman, Terry Bradshaw & Tom Brady have never seen aliens. I would prefer my guys don’t talk about it.”

That got Brady’s attention, and the Super Bowl-winning QB took it upon himself to get Cowherd to stop the nonsensical, nonstop hatred he spews at Mayfield.

It’s not always easy for Browns fans to like Tom Brady, but this is one instance where Cleveland needs to salute TB12.
