The Kansas City Chiefs have released their list of inactive players for the Sunday Night Football game against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium.

DE Tim Ward
DT Khalen Saunders
Rookie running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire was the biggest question mark on the Chiefs roster for this game. Listed as questionable on Friday’s final injury report, he and cornerback Bashaud Breeland both missed practice time this week as a result of illness. Both will be available to play on Sunday night. On Friday, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that they expected to have Edwards-Helaire available for the game, but it’s possible that running back Le’Veon Bell could take a larger-than-usual share of the rookie’s snaps.
The rest of the Chiefs players on the inactive list for Sunday’s game should be considered healthy scratches.
On Saturday, offensive lineman Stefen Wisniewski and defensive back Chris Lammons were elevated from the practice squad to the active roster. Both are active for the matchup, but will automatically be returned to the practice squad on Monday.
On Saturday, the Chiefs also placed linebacker (and four-phase special-teamer) Dorian O’Daniel — listed as out on Friday’s injury report — on injured reserve, where he’ll remain for at least three weeks. We expect that Lammons will be getting at least some of O’Daniel’s work on special teams.
There is the possibility that Wisniewski could be utilized on the offensive line against Denver. But given that he was only elevated for this game, it seems more likely that he will be used place of other offensive linemen on special teams. If that works out, we could easily see Wisniewski activated to the active roster as soon as Monday. Last year, Wisniewski started the last two games of the regular season (and all of the postseason) at left guard before he left for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the offseason. He could be used almost anywhere on the offensive line, but most of his experience is on the interior.
The Broncos have also released their inactives list for the game.
Broncos inactives vs. KC: DL McTelvin Agim (Shelby Harris back), CB Kevin Toliver, FB Jeremy Cox (Beck is back), ILB Mark Barron, G Netane Muti, S Trey Marshall.

RB Phillip Lindsay, WR Jerry Jeudy, OLB Malik Reed are active as expected. #9sports
Safety Trey Marshall (shin) had already been declared out for the game.
Running back Phillip Lindsay (knee) and linebacker Malik Reed (shin) had both been listed as questionable on Denver’s Friday injury report. This week, they each missed one practice, were limited in another but were full participants on Friday. Both will play on Sunday night. After being limited in practice on for two days, rookie wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (ankle) practiced fully on Friday, but was also listed as questionable. He will also play on Sunday night.
On Saturday, Denver elevated tight end Troy Fumagalli, defensive back Alijah Holder and linebacker Josh Watson from their practice squad. All three will be active for the game.
