Welcome to what could be the 2020 NFL season's most impactful weekend of playoff positioning. There are clinching scenarios for seven teams, on top of the five that have already qualified. And if a few results fall the right way, we'll see some of the league's longest playoff droughts end. The Browns could secure their first postseason appearance since 2002, while the Buccaneers could lock up their first since 2007. Washington and Arizona also could clinch their first appearances since 2015.
Here are the full postseason outlook and clinching scenarios that lie ahead, along with analysis from ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI), after the Saints won the NFC South on Friday while eliminating the Vikings from playoff contention.
Note: X denotes a team that has clinched a playoff berth, Y shows a team that has clinched its division and Z indicates a team that has secured a first-round bye.

The Chiefs can clinch the AFC's home-field advantage with a win or tie on Sunday against the Falcons. Even if they lose, they'll clinch with a Steelers win or tie, a Bills loss or tie or if they can clinch a strength-of-victory tiebreaker over the Steelers or Bills (or a tie in strength-of-victory tiebreaker over the other team). Got all that? The simplest answer is always the best: Beat the Falcons. Regardless, FPI says the Chiefs have a 99.9% chance to receive the bye in the AFC.
Remaining schedule: vs. Falcons, vs. Chargers
